Course Description:This 44-hour, Colorado POST-approved, Handgun Instructor Certification course is designed to provide law enforcement officers the necessary skill and knowledge to develop and operate a law enforcement firearms/handgun program for their agency, and/or assist teaching handgun skills in a police academy setting.
Course Requirements:
Students will be required to pass the Colorado POST Handgun Qualification Course on day one of training (two attempts). Failure to pass the qualification will result in removal from the course. Students must be a current sworn Law Enforcement Officer.
